CoralWatch

Here at the Dive Shop we are proud to teach CoralWatch Coral Health Chart Distinctive Specialty course, with special authorization from CoralWatch.

CoralWatch is a non-profit organisation built on a research project at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

The CoralWatch program aims to promote stakeholder participation in monitoring coral reefs for coral bleaching. CoralWatch Volunteers learn about coral reef ecology and how to identify coral bleaching, coral disease, and how to submit accurate reports. The goal of of the program is to identify resilient reefs and factors that contribute to resiliency.

The PADI authorized Coral Health Chart course gives our students the opportunity to learn the Coral Watch techniques in an easy going way and also receive credit with a PADI certification!
